Files shorter than 1 hour are billed at the $2 minimum. Longer files are billed pro-rata at $2.00 per hour, rounded to the nearest cent. Files shorter than 10 seconds cannot be processed.
Refund Policy
If our system cannot deliver a usable transcript for any reason — engine error, timeout, internal failure — we automatically issue a full refund to your original payment method. The refund is triggered the moment the order is marked failed; no action needed on your side. Most refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing is set by your card issuer.
Once your transcript is delivered (.txt / .srt / .docx files appear in your account), the order is considered fulfilled. Refunds are not issued for successful orders, including cases where you uploaded the wrong file by mistake — our system has no way to detect whether the audio matches your intent.
If a transcription completes but the output is severely below expectations (e.g., mostly garbled, wrong language detected, audio was mostly silence), reach out within 7 days of delivery with your order ID — by emailing support@transcribebee.com or via our /contact page. We review each case manually and may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.
Before paying, the upload page shows your file's detected duration — that's exactly what you'll be billed on (billed by detected duration, rounded to the nearest cent, with a 1-hour minimum per file). Confirm the duration is correct and the audio is clear and in a supported language. Files shorter than 10 seconds cannot be processed.
